Working with Social Media
Working in this field is becoming more and more popular. Since it is new people might don't know what to expect from this job and which requirements are needed. I found this post quite interesting to get a deeper insight. Do you have what it takes to become a Social Media Manager?

SvaraRaderaBeing a social media manager sounds like a respectable profession, provided it means working inside an organization and actually caring about the message and engaging in a dialogue, actually trying to use the tools to make a difference.
SvaraRaderaHowever, if somebody calls themselves a social media consultant - or even worse, an expert - bring out the holy water. Then you've met the mercenary who just last week was still busy making a quick buck with hot tips on search engine optimization.
Therese has worked inside a multi-national organization on exactly those issues, including thinking about when and how to initiate a dialogue with someone/customers who writes about the organization, their products, their service (or lack thereof) etc. on the Internet
