iPad apps for children?

.
I don't know if this is really appropriate and I don't even know if people still read stuff that is posted to the blog, but, anyway, I have a question for y'all.

Does anyone happen to have recommendations for great iPad apps for children?

Yours gratefully,

/Daniel

PS. I hope you all will have a nice Christmas (and that you will come back well rested and with new energy for the spring term).

  1. Hello Daniel! It depends on how old the child is but I have a little cousin who loves to play a game called "Tozzle"!

I found this clip on Youtube:

  2. Since most of the eductional and book-related stuff is in English, the obvious choice is to go for drawing apps and music apps that work regardless of what languages your children know. For example "Drawing Pad" and "Drums!" look like apps I would have loved as a kid...

...but now as a more mature kid I'd maybe try if the kids would like something that combines the two, one of my personal favorite iOS apps, Bloom.

If you're willing to consider games, I whole-heartedly recommend Cut the Rope.

  3. Sorry, I forgot all about the ages but they are 4.5 and 8.5 years old. Thanks for your suggestions!
